The BASIC range of industrial vacuum cleaners is built with conventional filtration systems commonly used on the market, namely woven/non-woven polyester filters, commonly known as pocket filters or star filters. This range has the advantage of being suitable for a wide variety of general applications, but at the same time it has the limitation of being less specific, especially when vacuuming complex dusts such as fine dust particles.

For dust collection, however, this configuration is less effective than a tangential inlet, as the deflector significantly slows down the dust flow, making the dust more likely to be attracted towards the filter.
