NOVA 3 TALK is the communication system designed to integrate the RPB NOVA 3 sandblasting helmet with an external transceiver radio, allowing the operator to stay in contact with colleagues, department managers and support personnel even during sandblasting operations.
The system allows communication without structural modifications to the helmet and uses a noise-reducing microphone , integrated earpiece, and Push-To-Talk control, making it easier to exchange operating instructions even in particularly noisy industrial environments. GVS-RPB recommends NOVA Talk as a suitable solution for remote or hard-to-reach environments, such as tanks, shipyards, and isolated work areas.
Communicating while sandblasting
During a sandblasting job, the operator may be inside a chamber, in a confined space, or at a distance from other workers.
NOVA 3 TALK allows you to maintain a radio connection with the outside for:
- receive directions while working;
- coordinate with other operators;
- communicate changes or operational needs;
- reduce the need to interrupt work to communicate;
- facilitate safety-related communications;
- maintain contact in noisy or difficult-to-access industrial environments.
The system contributes to operator coordination and communication , but obviously does not replace the company safety, emergency and supervision procedures established for the specific activity.
