For free-jet sandblasting operations with pre-wetting of the abrasive.

SABIX R is suitable when it is necessary to carry out localised interventions directly on site and a compact, easily moveable recovery sandblaster with a relatively low air requirement is required.

The indicated consumption of 200–500 l/min and the Ø3 mm nozzle make it particularly interesting when the available compressor does not allow the powering of higher capacity recovery systems.

WHEN TO PREFER BASE PRESSURE

If the job is more extensive, frequent or requires greater abrasive autonomy, it may be preferable to switch to PRESSURE BASE .

SABIX R uses an 8-litre tank and a Ø3 mm nozzle, while PRESSURE BASE has a 24-litre tank, Ø4 mm nozzle and can work with significantly higher air flow rates.

SABIX R prioritizes compactness and reduced air requirement; PRESSURE BASE prioritizes autonomy and operational capacity.

What compressor do I need for SABIX R?

SABIX R has an indicated air consumption between 200 and 500 l/min. The choice of compressor must be made on the basis of the air flow actually delivered at the required pressure, not only on the nominal power or tank capacity.

What is the difference between SABIX R and PRESSURE BASE?

SABIX R is more compact, uses an 8-liter tank and a Ø3 mm nozzle, and requires a lower air flow rate. PRESSURE BASE, on the other hand, has a 24-liter tank and a Ø4 mm nozzle and is more suitable when greater autonomy and operating capacity are required.

Does SABIX R recover abrasive during sandblasting?

Yes. The suction system connected to the gun body recovers abrasive and dust produced during processing, conveying them to the collection and filtration system. The quality of recovery also depends on proper contact between the gun body and the surface.
